- Mileage: 506,788 lifetime miles
- Engine Hours: 49,578 hours
- Conversion: Trolley replica conversion by Cable Car Classics
This 2005 Gillig 29-foot low-floor transit bus features a trolley replica conversion completed by Cable Car Classics. It is equipped with the original 8.9L Cummins ISL engine and the original Voith .3 transmission.
The bus was removed from service on June 12, 2026. It had reached the end of its useful service life in our fleet and was replaced with a new bus. At the time it was retired, the transmission had developed a failure requiring replacement or rebuilding. The bus starts, runs, and moves under its own power and can be loaded onto a trailer or driven a short distance if necessary. However, once the transmission reaches operating temperature, it slips significantly during takeoff.
Aside from the transmission issue described above, all other vehicle systems were functioning as designed when the bus was removed from service.
