All Items are sold “as-is, where-is”. We encourage customers to make an appointment to physically inspect item(s) before placing bid(s).

 

  The bidder's name will be the only name the Bill of Sale is printed in.

 

If you are an out of state bidder, please check with your local DMV prior to placing your bid as they may refuse title for an out of state “Bill of Sale”

INSPECTIONS AND REMOVAL OF ITEMS ONSITE are BY APPOINTMENT ONLY, NO EXCEPTIONS!

 

Hours 7:30-2:30 Monday through Friday excluding Holidays.

 

ALL INSPECTIONS MUST BE MADE PRIOR TO THE AUCTION CLOSING.

 

TEST DRIVES ARE NOT PERMITTED.

 

No mechanical work is allowed on the lot. No fluids may be added or removed.

WE ARE UNABLE TO PROVIDE EMISSION TESTS.

 

ANY BIDDER DEFAULTING ON A VEHICLE WILL FACE PERMANENT SUSPENSION FROM BIDDING

 

You have 7 calendar days after the auction end to make payment and 14 calendar days to pick up your winning item(s). Items not paid for within the allotted 7 calendar days of auction closing date or picked up within the allotted 14 calendar days will be forfeited and re-listed, and bidder blocked.

Remember - Your bid is the same as a contract. - Please only bid on an item that you are serious about buying. A winning bid constitutes a legally binding contract.

Buyers are responsible for filing all Bill of Sale and registration documents with their local vehicle registration authority.

Inspection of Auction items by appointment only.

The City of St. Helena may require a bid deposit.

PayMac handles all payments for the City of St. Helena.

Acceptable forms of payment are: Wire Transfer or Credit Card.
NO CASH, CHECKS, OR MONEY ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED!

Payment for an awarded item must be received within five (5) business days after notice of award.

The City of St. Helena will charge a sales tax of 8.25%. The tax rate will be calculated at the time of bidding.

A Buyers Premium of 10.5% will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction for payment collections.

All sales are final. PayMac will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email.

The successful bidder will be responsible for pick-up of item(s) from the agency's premises. Pick-up must occur within ten (10) business days after notification of award. The notice of award, payment receipt, and personal identification must be presented at time of pick-up, or the item will not be released.

Pick-up hours by appointment only.

Items left on the premises after Ten business days of a won auction may have a $35.00 per day storage fee applied before the item is signed over and released.

The successful bidder will be responsible for packing, and/or loading any item(s) at pick-up, if necessary.
