Condition: FAIR
This auction is for a General Equipment 343H Post Hole Digger with 2 augers and a Honda 5.0 engine.  Unknown if it starts or runs.  Has been sitting in storage drained of gas for years. Please see pictures.
 

A VIEWING/INSPECTION IS SCHEDULED ON 2/11/2026 FROM 10AM - 1PM, YOU MUST SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT AT LEAST 24 HOURS PRIOR TO VIEW/INSPECT DURING THIS TIME.

 

You MUST sign and date all paperwork prior to picking up items.  Paperwork will be sent to you once auction ends and payment has been made.  You may then contact Sacramento Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant and arrange for a mutually convenient pick-up time. You must bring to the pick-up location (1) the Notice of Award, (2) the Paid Receipt and (3) personal picture identification (such as a Driver License). You must present all three identification items at the scheduled pick-up, or the auction item(s) will not be released to you.

 - All sale items are sold "as is and where is". It is the bidder's responsibility to personally view the items upon which he/she bids and assure him/herself as to its condition and as to its meeting the bid description. - NO REFUNDS, NO GUARANTEES

 

 Removal Terms and Conditions. Buyer must remove auction item (s) from the agency premises within ten (10) business days after the time and date of issuance of the Notice of Award. If the Buyer, after making payment for an item, fails to remove the item within the specified time, the agency reserves the right (1) to retain all payments; and (2) to dispose of the item through another auction or otherwise. Buyer must make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading, and transportation of property awarded to Buyer from the place where the property is located as indicated on the website and in the Notice of Award. Under no circumstances will agency or agency staff assume responsibility for advising, supervising or assisting in any way the packing, loading or transporting of auction item (s). Buyer assumes all liability for damage to the property due to Buyer's packing, loading or transporting of said property. Buyer shall be liable to and reimburse agency for any damage to agency's property caused by Buyer's or Buyer Agent's removal of auction item (s) from the premises. No maintenance may be performed on agency's property.  The Sacramento Regional County Sanitation District (Regional San) reserves the right to cancel the property transfer if the vehicle or process used by the buyer is deemed unsafe by Regional San or SASD staff.

SacSewer - Treatment and Resource Recovery may charge sales tax. The tax rate will be calculated at the time of bidding. When sales tax is included, the buyer shall add and include the sales tax amount when making payment.

A Buyers Premium of 9.5% will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction for payment collections. This premium will be visible during the bidding process and added to the total bid.

All sales are final. Public Surplus will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email.

The successful bidder will be responsible for pick-up of item(s) from the agency's premises. Pick-up must occur within ten (10) business days after notification of award. The notice of award, payment receipt, and personal identification must be presented at time of pick-up, or the item will not be released.
