Utility Company Owned Surplus – DBI-SALA Wire Rope Grab Assembly

Description:

Up for Dutch auction is a lot of eight (8) DBI-SALA wire rope grab assemblies used in ladder fall restraint systems. You may purchase one or more units. The final price is per unit, not for all 8. The assemblies include a mechanical grab device and attached hardware such as rings and connectors, visible in the photos. These items were purchased for utility safety applications but were never deployed in the field. Items show typical dust and handling wear consistent with long-term warehouse storage, but no signs of field use.

Payment for an awarded item must be received within five (5) business days after notice of award of the winning bid.

Snohomish County PUD will charge sales tax of 9.9% on all items. Taxes are calculated at the time of bidding. The buyer shall add and include the sales tax amount when making payment.

When buying motorized vehicles, Snohomish County PUD will charge an additional Vehicle Tax of 0.3%. Taxes are calculated at the time of bidding. The buyer shall add and include the tax amount when making payment. Out-of-State buyers may apply for a 6.5% WA State sales tax reimbursement through the WA State Department of Revenue.

All sales are final. Public Surplus will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email.

The successful bidder is responsible for removal/pick-up of item(s) from the agency's premises. Removal must occur within ten (10) business days after notification of award of the winning bid. The notice of award, payment receipt, and personal identification must be presented at the time of pick-up, or the Snohomish County PUD will not release the item to you.
