THE SUCCESSFUL BIDDER WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE REMOVAL OR PICK-UP OF ITEM(S) FROM THE AGENCY'S PREMISES. REMOVAL MUST OCCUR WITHIN (10) BUSINESS DAYS AFTER NOTIFICATION OF AWARD OF THE WINNING BID. THE NOTICE OF AWARD, THE PAYMENT RECEIPT AND PERSONAL IDENTIFICATION MUST BE PRESENTED AT THE TIME OF PICK-UP. THE SUCCESSFUL BIDDER WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PACKING, LOADING, AND/OR TRANSPORTING OF ANY ITEM(S), IF NECESSARY. IF AN INDIVIDUAL OTHER THAN THE AWARDED BIDDER IS TO PICK UP THE ITEM, THEY MUST PROVIDE EL DORADO COUNTY TRANSIT AUTHORITY WITH A WRITTEN AND SIGNED LETTER OR EMAIL OF AUTHORIZATION TO CONDUCT BUSINESS ON THE WINNER'S BEHALF.
Buyers have 5 business days to pay for the item after winning the auction and must remove item(s) within 10 business days of payment.
ITEMS NOT PAID WITHIN 5 BUSINESS DAYS WILL BE PASSED TO THE NEXT HIGHEST BIDDER, OR RELISTED WITH THE WINNER FORFEITING THEIR RIGHT TO THE ITEM. NO EXCEPTIONS.

"NO SHIPPING"- We do not pack and ship item(s). We will not release the item(s) to a third party without an authorization email, sent from the buyer's personal email address that includes the full name of the third party. The third party will be required to bring payment receipt and identification upon arrival.

The responsibility to verify the condition of the property rests with the bidder. Prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect the property prior to bidding and to place bids based solely on their personal inspection.

Payment for an awarded item must be received within five (5) business days after notice of award.
El Dorado County Transit Authority may charge sales tax. The tax rate will be calculated at the time of bidding. When sales tax is included, the buyer shall add and include the sales tax amount when making payment.
A Buyers Premium of 10.5% will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction for payment collections. This premium will be visible during the bidding process and added to the total bid.
All sales are final. Public Surplus will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email.
The successful bidder will be responsible for pick-up of item(s) from the agency's premises. Pick-up must occur within ten (10) business days after notification of award. The notice of award, payment receipt, and personal identification must be presented at time of pick-up, or the item will not be released.

The successful bidder will be responsible for packing, and/or loading any item(s) at pick-up, if necessary.
