The City of Cuyahoga Falls Water Department offers this 2009 Sterling L9500 single drive axle dump truck for sale via online auction. This truck as with all vehicles the City sells is offered AS IS - AS SEEN. In person inspection is encouraged by appointment M-F 9:00am - 3:00pm. This truck is a CDL required vehicle.
The primary use for this was to shuttle material for water main breaks in the City. At the time of replacement no issues were reported. 4,270 hours. AC in working order when this posting was put on.
Low mileage for the age and always stored inside when not in use. That said The City by policy makes no statement as to any continued drive-ability other than it starts, moves ahead, reverses, stops and turns off. Any printable service history with included. The 2 way radio is City Property and specific graphics will be removed.
Stainless Steel [Highway brand] bed with hardox floor in good condition. Hydraulics in good working order with circuits all the way to the back. Electric trailer brake controller, no trailer air brake circuits. Has rear diff lock and Groenveld auto grease system. Caterpillar C13 with ARD , no DEF, Allison automatic transmission.
Batteries new 2-2025, snow plow works well and is in good condition. A new seat foam and cover has been ordered for the driver seat. This truck is used on roads that are treated for snow and ice control and some corrosion should be expected. The snow plow was only for standby in heavy snow events and was rarely used.
Buyer agrees to remove this asset 7 business days after the Mayor signs and the title is notarized. No vehicles are released until the title process is complete. The person picking this truck up must have an auction receipt [phone image is acceptable].
Method of removal is entirely the buyer choice, City staff will not assist. If a transport company is hired the Garage must be notified 24 hours in advance with company and driver name. Buyer pays all costs to ship. Title will be given to the person picking this up.
