Condition: FAIR

Selling a lot of surplus smartphones, consisting of 10 Apple iPhone 13 devices. These are consumer-grade devices suitable for personal use, refurbishment, resale, or parts depending on condition and buyer needs.

Details:

  • 10 iPhones total, including:

    • Apple iPhone 13 (128GB storage)

    Device configurations:

    • 5G capable
    • Physical SIM + eSIM support
    • assumed compatible with major carriers but not guaranteed

    Condition:

    • Used condition with normal cosmetic wear (scratches, scuffs, possible residue from cases or handling)
    • Screens appear intact; no major cracks observed unless otherwise noted
    • Devices have been powered on and home can get to home screen and settings
    • Battery health of all phones above 80% - many still have high battery health

    Additional Notes:

    • Devices have been reset; prior user data removed
    • iCloud / Activation Lock status not verified (buyer responsible for confirming usability)
    • No SIM cards included
    • No chargers, cables, or accessories included

Ideal for IT resale, refurbishment projects, parts harvesting, or general computing, depending on buyer expertise. All items are sold as-is, as-found, with no warranties or guarantees. Buyers should bid with the understanding that these are untested surplus devices.

No warranties expressed or implied for any items in this lot. BUYER IS SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LIFTING AND LOADING REQUIRED TO PICK UP ITEM. No lifting and loading help will be provided at pick up site. Email property@csuchico.edu if you have any questions PRIOR TO BIDDING, or to schedule a pickup. Facility is not staffed, PICK UP IS BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. WE REPEAT PICK UP IS BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. If an appointment has not been set do not show up. 

Buyer will have 2 weeks to pick up the item IN PERSON. To simplify pickup, we will not be able to work with a 3rd party shipping / pick up service. The individual who won the bid must be present with a valid identification as stated in our terms. Availability for pickup starts Monday May 11 and ends Monday May 25. Hours of operation for pick up are Monday 10AM – 3PM, Wednesday 9AM – 1PM, and Friday 11AM – 3PM.

PayMac, handles all payments for California State University, Chico.

Acceptable forms of payment are: Wire Transfer or Credit Card.
NO CASH, CHECKS, OR MONEY ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED!

Payment for an awarded item must be received within five (5) business days after notice of award.


California State University, Chico will charge a sales tax of _9.25_%. The tax rate will be calculated at the time of bidding.

A Buyers Premium of 10.5% will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction for payment collections.

All sales are final. Public Surplus will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email.

The successful bidder will be responsible for pick-up of item(s) from the agency's premises. Pick-up must occur within ten (10) business days unless otherwise stated in auction description after notification of award. The notice of award, payment receipt, and personal identification must be presented at time of pick-up, or the item will not be released.
