Payment for an awarded item must be received within five (5) business days after notice of award.
Town of Blacksburg will charge a sales tax of 5.3%
A Buyers Premium of 10% will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction.

All items sold as is/where is. All statements of known item defects listed reflect just that and the Town of Blacksburg takes no responsibility or liability for any defects, known and unknown. The responsibility to determine the condition of an item rests with the bidder. Failure to inspect an item prior to submitting a bid shall not be grounds for any claim. Buyer is responsible for all loading, labor, removal and shipping costs.

PLEASE NOTE: TOWN OF BLACKSBURG STAFF WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE TO ASSIST BUYERS WITH LOADING OR REMOVAL OF ITEMS. OUR MECHANICS WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE TO ASSIST BUYERS WITH STARTING OR LOADING EQUIPMENT.

Town of Blacksburg employees and their immediate family members shall not bid on or purchase items exceeding $500. "Immediate family" means a spouse or any other person residing in the same house.
