  • Cosmetic Condition: The stove is a used, vintage item and shows significant signs of wear and tear:

    • The cooktop burners show surface rust and heavy use.

    • The oven interior is extremely dirty and will require significant cleaning before use (see photos).

    • The exterior has various scuff marks and discoloration typical of an older appliance.

  • Power Cord: The unit includes a power cord with a large 3-prong plug (common for older electric ranges).

  • Moving/Handling: The stove is on a pallet/dolly in a warehouse-type setting and appears to be ready for transport.

 

This item is sold "as is, where is" with no guarantees or warranties regarding its functionality. All sales are final.

We encourage customers to make an appointment to view item(s) before bidding. All customers MUST MAKE AN APPOINTMENT prior to arriving on campus to pick up item(s). If you arrive to the warehouse without an appointment, we make no guarantee that we can assist you. If item is not removed from our facility in 10 days, it will be relisted or disposed of.

The College does not provide any type of shipping or loading help - absolutely no boxing, packaging, shipping or loading assistance in any way. Buyer is responsible for all necessary equipment and man power to load and secure load.

PayMac handles all payments for Washtenaw Community College.

Acceptable forms of payment are: Wire Transfer or Credit Card.
NO CASH, CHECKS, OR MONEY ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED!

Payment for an awarded item must be received within five (5) business days after notice of award.


Washtenaw Community College will charge sales tax. The tax rate will be calculated at the time of bidding. When sales tax is included, the buyer shall add and include the sales tax amount when making payment.

A Buyers Premium of 10.5% will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction for payment collections. This premium if applicable will be visible during the bidding process and added to the total bid.

All sales are final. Public Surplus will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email.

The successful bidder will be responsible for pick-up of item(s) from the agency's premises. Pick-up must occur within ten (10) business days after notification of award. The notice of award, payment receipt, and personal identification must be presented at time of pick-up, or the item will not be released.

The successful bidder will be responsible for packing, and/or loading any item(s) at pick-up, if necessary.
