Buyer is responsible for loading items.
We do not pack, palletize, shrink-wrap or prepare items for transport or shipment.

Viewing opportunities will be very limited due to location and availability of staff.

Pickup of Auction Items Shall Occur within Five (5) Business Days After Auction End
10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

If these hours do not work for you, all attempts will be made to assist in a pickup time but we cannot guarantee anything outside the given date and time.
Buyer must remove auction item(s) from said agencies premises WITHIN FIVE (5) DAYS AFTER AUCTION CLOSE. We must receive notification by Public Surplus of receipt of payment. If the items have not been picked up after five (5) business days with no attempt to contact the seller or removal by the date agreed by seller, they will be re-posted to the auction and no refund will be given. We understand that there are certain circumstances which make it difficult for buyers to pick up items, however if the buyer maintains communication with us and makes alternate arrangements, leniency may be granted. The notice of award, the payment receipt and personal identification must be presented at the time of pick-up.
Third Party Pickup: Before property will be released, the winning buyer will be required to send an e-mail (from the winning buyer's e-mail address used for the auction), identifying the third party authorized to pick-up paid items on their behalf. The authorized third party will need to bring the Notice of Award, Paid Receipt (photo copies are acceptable), and their personal identification. We are not responsible for 3rd party couriers, fees, fines, and shipping costs.

Lawrence County may require a bid deposit.
Pay Mac, Inc. handles all payments for Lawrence County.
Acceptable forms of payment are: Wire Transfer or Credit Card.
NO CASH, CHECKS, OR MONEY ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED!
Payment for an awarded item must be received within five (5) business days after notice of award.
Lawrence County may charge sales tax. The tax rate will be calculated at the time of bidding. When sales tax is included, the buyer shall add and include the sales tax amount when making payment.
A Buyers Premium of 10% will be added to the final sale price with a $1 minimum charge per auction for payment collections. This premium will be visible during the bidding process and added to the total bid.
All sales are final. Public Surplus will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email.
The successful bidder will be responsible for pick-up of item(s) from the agency's premises. Pick-up must occur within ten (10) business days after notification of award. The notice of award, payment receipt, and personal identification must be presented at time of pick-up, or the item will not be released.
