General Description:

Vehicle/Equipment is sold 'As Is, Where Is' with no warranties, expressed or implied, as to its condition or fitness for any purpose and must be picked up at its current location.

The buyer is solely responsible for all loading, towing, and transportation. City of Albuquerque staff and equipment are not available to assist with removal.

NO PRE-SALE INSPECTIONS: Vehicle/Equipment is being sold without the option for on-site inspection. Potential bidders must rely solely on the provided photographs and description. 

REMOVAL REQUIREMENTS: Winning bidder must remove auction item(s): vehicle, equipment; within 5 business days of notification by Public Surplus of receipt of payment. Auction item(s): vehicle, equipment; must be towed or hauled away at the buyer’s expense; driving any vehicle or equipment off the lot is at the buyer’s own risk.

Appointment Required:
All pickups are by appointment only. You must call 505-857-8673 or email fleetsurplus@cabq.gov at least 24 hours in advance to schedule your time slot. Same-day pickups are strictly prohibited.

Required Documentation:
To claim auction item(s): vehicle, equipment; the winning bidder or their authorized transport agent must present the following at the time of arrival:

  1. Official Public Surplus Paid Receipt (Proof of Payment).
  2. Valid Government-Issued Photo ID.

PayMac handles all payments for City of Albuquerque. Payment for an awarded item must be received within 5 business days of close of auction.Acceptable forms of payment are: Wire Transfer or Credit Card.
NO CASH, CHECKS, OR MONEY ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED!

All sales are final. Public Surplus will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email. Buyer must remove auction item(s) from said agencies premises within 5 business days of notification by Public Surplus of receipt of payment. The payment receipt must be presented at the time of pick up or the said agency will not release the item to you.

Bid Deposits: City of Albuquerque may require bid deposits to ensure fairness and equity to all buyers as a way to decrease default bidding.

Sale of all surplus property is, "as is" and "where is", without warranty.

The City of Albuquerque reserves the right to withdraw any items being offered.

A buyer's premium shall be added to all auctions and will be visible during bidding process.

No service of any kind will be furnished by the City of Albuquerque, and the successful bidder shall assume any cost of weighing, packaging, crating, loading or hauling, unless otherwise indicated.
No refunds or adjustments will be made on any award(s).
